Jane Hae Kim

Jane Hae Kim was born and raised in Queens NY. She is a Korean American, multi-hypenate Artist. She has a BFA from Art Center College of Design. Her recent TV credits include, Picard (2020), NCIS (2019). She was in a VR Game this past year where she played the tech genius behind the software that goes awry in Redway Manor (2019). Recent Film credits are What Lies West (2019), Impasse (2019), iSOLVE, Nickelodeon (2019).

Esther Moon

Esther Moon is an actress and producer. Her credits include Jill Soloway’s Amazon Series “Transparent” and Women in Film’s “Flip the Script”. You can soon see her in the PlanB/A24 film “Minari”. She is a recent breast cancer survivor and a clinical social worker. Due to her resilient Korean genes, she has been known to out-drink Germans in a Bavarian beer hall and karaoke for six hours straight into the night.

 

Val Victa

Val Victa was first seen internationally in the 6-hour HBO mini series "A Dangerous Life" (1987) He also received outstanding reviews for his portrayal of "Jim" in the Chancel Repertory play; "Snapshots and Portraits" (1998) In the Philippines, Val is widely familiar as "Atty. Fidel Dioquino" in the TV series "Valiente" which lasted for six years as the top-rating multi-weekly TV show in the country from 1990 to 1996.

Chris Yejin

Chris Yejin is a first-generation Korean American who has been working steadily as a director, playwright, and actor. Her latest, original theater production The King’s Language was highly recognized by many critics. After the successful world premiere at Hollywood Fringe Festival 2017, The King’s Language returned for two consecutive years 2018 and 2019, sponsored by both USC Pacific Asia Museum and Korean Cultural Center of Los Angeles. Chris has worked on various films as an actor as well, including Ms. Purple (2019), Fractured (2017), and Spa Night (2016)

 

Monica Cho

Monica Cho is a Korean American actor, producer, and director and is very excited to be a part of WAVES! After falling in love with painting, she attended Cornell University for a BFA in Fine Arts. Over the years, her art practice expanded into acting then writing and creating stories. Her latest work includes a comedic assistant role on the STARZ show "Now Apocalypse" and premiering the short film, "Glorious Mrs. Kim", at the LAAPFF festival

 

BJ Clinkscales

BJ Clinkscales was born and raised in New York City. For College, he attended Wesleyan University, where he double majored in both Theater and Psychology. B.J. has appeared in over 50 different television shows, dozens of national commercials and a variety of feature films. He is thrilled to be a part of the WAVES project.

James Kang

James Kang is a Korean American actor who has had his foundation in Korean Theatre. He has had notable success with film. Recent credits include, Ms Purple (2019), Moonwalk with Me (2018), Huff (2018), and Ktown (2018).

 

Edward Hong

Edward Hong is an actor who constantly obsesses over Cinnabons, to the point that he advertises himself with the fat pastry product. He's been on a gaggle of primetime TV shows, indie films, commercials, has dubbed over other people in a variety of Netflix shows, and other miscellaneous things that help pay for his gluttonous addiction. He is also the proud father of three cats and currently repped by Anthony Boyer at DDO Artists Agency and Chris Lee at Authentic Talent & Literary Management

Christiana Charalambous

Cinematographer

 Born and raised in Cyprus, Christiana graduated top of her class at SF State University with her BA in Cinematography. She worked as the Director of Photography for TED in Cyprus and has shot commercials for clients such as Evian, Nescafe and Naked Fruit.  In 2014 she was nominated for the best cinematography award at The Meisner Technique Film Festival for the short film "Shooting Stars Are Dead". With deep technical understanding and strong passion for visual storytelling, Christiana creates stunning and memorable images that evoke emotion in viewers. An amazing collaborator, known to handle stress under any circumstance, she has shot 3 independent feature films and numerous short films.

Meghan Weinstein

Meghan Weinstein is a Canadian writer, director and producer.  She holds a BFA in Fine Art from OTIS College of Art and Design as well as an MFA in Filmmaking from New York Film Academy. Her shorts and features have gone to over 100 film festivals and found distribution on major platforms such as Amazon Prime.
